Relaxed- about to be Stressed

This weekend was nice. I went to the haunted mansion in Lawrence... It wasn't exactly haunted. I mean, I didn't see anything. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be at all... The people who we (me and Malina) met up with didn't know anything about seances or ouiji boards or anything.... Sooo, it wasn't at all what I thought it was gonna be. We got a tour of the house, which was huge (approximately 28 bedrooms) and we shut the lights off, lit a candle, but nothing happened. So at 1am, Malina and I left and went to the Dirty Bird to meet up with Jennifer.

Jennifer is a stripper and she's been begging me to go to her club. Well, her club's in Lawrence, and I'm never in Lawrence that late. But, since I was, we met up with her. I've been to her old club before and it's weird, but I'm used to it. The only thing that was awkward was me and Malina walking in to a room full of guys and have the guys look at you. When they realized that I was meeting up with one of the dancers cuz we were friends, they started looking at me. You know, the undressing of the eyes type look. I tried to ignore them.... It's just awkward. I ended up having a couple drinks to loosen up a bit lol.

After the club closed, I got to play on the pole. A couple of the strippers were teaching me moves Lol. It was fun. I never could do that in front of people but it's nice to just do it for yourself. Anyway, after the club closed we went to I-Hop. I was definitely tipsy by that point (Well, by the point I got on the pole). I had only 2 drinks (cranberry vodka) but the bartender had a thing for me (I later found out) and he definitely wasn't shy about pouring in the vodka. So 2 of the drinks got me tipsy/drunk. It's that state that I get in to that I'm not exactly sure if I'm ok to drive. Like, if I got pulled over, what would I blow? So, I just had Jennifer drive. We got to I-Hop and I ended up ordering way too much food. Lol. I should never be aloud to order food while drunk. I got an omelete and 3 pancakes. I had literally two bites of them meal and had to box it up. It's still sittin in the fridge...

After I-Hop I was good enough to drive, so I went home and went to sleep. Today, I went to Worlds of Fun with Jennifer and her boyfriend, John, and that was a lot of fun. VERY hot and humid, but it got a little better after going on some water rides. I had a good time with them. I like going out with Jennifer and John because they don't make me feel awkward, like some couples do. You know, when the couple is being all lovey and kissy and all over each other and leaving the 3rd person out... I hate that, and I have some friends that'll do that. But, not Jen :)

Good news! Malina agreed to be my roommate in November. Yay!! All I have to do is convince the apartment complex to give me the courtesy officer position either now, or hold it for me for November. Wish me luck with that.

Also, I got asked out today and I said yes. I got asked out by this guy named Eliott who I went to the academy with. He's an officer as well, obviously, but not with my department. He's a black male, 24, probably like 5'11" or so, very fit. From KCK (Kansas City Kansas). He's from the ghetto, but he's well educated (has his bachelor degree already and is obtaining his masters currently). I've never dated a black guy, so this is new to me. Honestly, I'm naturally attracted to white men. But, Eliott and I clicked in the academy and so... I thought I'd give this a try. My only concern is that because of how we clicked, I would see him more like a brother than a boyfriend. We will see.... Our first date is supposed to be next Saturday. It's actually a double date with Jen and her boyfriend. We're going to downtown KC where the bodies revealed thing is at. It's supposed to be really interesting and it's something fun. I'm not the type of girl that likes to go to sit down restaurants and to a movie afterwards. So cliche. I like actually doing stuff.

So, it was such a nice weekend.... Tomorrow I will go back to being stressed since I have 3 days left of FTO!!!
