Finished with Phase 4 and onto Phase 5

I am officially done with Phase 4. I'm now back with my original Phase 1 FTO for the last and final phase. Phase 5.

Today was a good way to end it too. Phase 4 FTO and I had our laughs, had our sharings. He told me what I needed to work on and how I can work on it to make it better. My call load was fairly light. I made a few traffic stops, code runs, recovered property call. Took my test and passed it with flying colors. And now I'm done. He has passed me on to my final Phase. :)

Oh, and I found out right as I was about to leave the station to go home that I work from 7pm to 3am tomorrow and 11pm to 7am on Friday. And what happens from there on I'm not sure. Phase 5 FTO sent me an e-mail with a schedule that's still tentative. It's going to be hectic. I get Sunday off as my only day off until the following Friday. It'll be a long week but hey, I'm almost there.

Phase 5 is the phase where FTO doesn't help at all. In the phase I was just in, my FTO watched me and if he knew I was going to forget something, he would step in. Or at least remind me before I left. In this final phase, FTO won't help at all. If I forget it, I forget it. If I screw up, I screw up. If I don't know something, I have to find the answer the way I would if I were alone. It's just a way to make sure I can handle all this on my own, because after 10 shifts (which is the length for the final phase) I AM on my own. Yes, it's stressful and nerve racking. But, I know all of this and I just have to make it happen. I could use some prayers now!

Anyway, I'm tired and since I'm not working a midnight shift tomorrow, I'm gonna head on to bed. :P

nope, we don't have 2-man cars. the only time we have 2-man cars is when we go into our 12-hour emergency shift. that's where every cop in the department is required to work 12 hour shifts for however long they tell us to. that only happens when there's an emergency crisis though.
