Here I am, just leaving from dropping off a movie from the parking lot of Blockbuster... I pull out to a private road that enters on to a main street. I am in the nearest right hand turning lane. There is a commercial vehicle to my left, also in a right hand turning lane. I pull out to make a right turn in to my designated lane and the commercial vehicle makes the same move at the same time (And I assumed in to his designated lane). Next thing I know, the commercial vehicle turns in to my lane and smashes my car.
My car was disabled. I had to have it towed. One of the guys from work had to pick me up from the scene and FTO had to take me home.
So, now I'm without a car. I have to call dip shit's insurance company tomorrow to have an adjuster come out and look at my car. (Yes, in the police report, done not by my agency, pin points the other guy at "fault" *although police do not determine who's at fault*). I called my insurance company and I have to find a way out to Enterprise tomorrow to get a rental vehicle. I'm authorized a week. I think Enterprise will come pick you up to go pick up the rental. Hope so.
FTO looked at my car and doesn't think it'll be totaled out. I'm not so sure. I have damage to the driver's side tire and wheel, hood, front bumper, driver's side mirror was torn off, driver's side door smashed in. It looks lovely *rolls eyes*.
I just can't believe this happened to me. After everything I've been going through, this had to be added on to the list. Someone is pissed off at me to make my life a living fucking hell.

aww beauty, i'm sooo sorry!! that just sucks. here's hoping it all get's smoothed o/ fast...
Wow, when it rains it pours, eh? I'm so sorry to hear about your poor car. And you just got it too, early last year after the last accident!
The important thing is that YOU are OK. Cars can be fixed and/or replaced, you can't!!!
I'll bet that other driver bummed hard when he found out you are a cop. lol
Good grief girl, Trouble has found you yet again. Is there a target on your back?
Know this -he hit you, it's his fault and his insurance company will have to pay for everything including a rental car. It is up to your insurance company to collect from his insurance. That's why we pay those ridiculous rates.
With all that damage, it's a wonder you weren't injured. If you feel any kind of pain, get it checked out right away!
Also, remember, I do personal injury/accident law for a living, if you have any questions or need help, email me.
