That's right. I start my midnight shift on Monday (11pm to 7am). Thankfully, I only work that shift for about 10 shifts, which on the calendar looks to be a little over 2 weeks. Or maybe I'm not so thankful since that isn't a lot of time to get used to that sleep schedule... In a way I'm looking forward to it, because it's a whole new world out there during midnights, but my sleep schedule is gonna be way off. Sacrifices of the job I guess. :P
I am quite excited because it's my Friday today (this will be posted as Thursday June 5th, but in reality, it's still June 4th to me cuz I haven't gone to bed yet...). I have a few things planned... I'm going to the doctor (not really lookin forward to that part...) and I'm going on a walk with a good friend of mine who works at the PD with me, and we're taking our dogs. Then I plan to do some more painting. I'll have to take pictures of my paintings whenever I find my digital camera and its cord that connects to the computer...
As for Friday night, I don't really have any plans. Maybe I'll think up of some new craft.....I actually really want to get a swimsuit sometime tomorrow and go to the pool but I don't have anybody to go with in this area. People either live too far away, are working, or are too self-conscious to go swimming. I might just go out there by myself and check it out... Maybe...
I'm just glad it's a weekend. I definitely need the break.

Good luck on the graveyard shift!! I've heard that a lot of cops love that shift. I think it'd be hard on the system. Enjoy your weekend and give your doggie a snuggle for me.
