Did you think I would forget it was the man's birthday today? Absolutely not! :) I am still the big man's fan. He is 49 years old today and I still love him ;). And many thanks to Eliza for the picture.
I've been busy. That shouldn't come as a surprise. However, I think I'm coming down with something. My throat is aching and I've been a lot more exhausted these past few days even after sleeping for hours. Sometimes I really hate sleeping in because I get nothing done. I hardly get any personal time before I have to report back to work. I'm not sure if the extreme exhaustion is because of my always-changing work schedule, or if it's because I'm getting sick. It could be a mixture of both I guess.
Today's my last day in Phase 3. I have been passed onto Phase 4. Phase 4 lasts 3 weeks with a new FTO. My Phase 4 FTO is hard. At least he's rumored to be hard. I kind of knew him before, but I have a feeling his demeanor is going to change a lot from the joking/flirty self he was when I had met him. Oh well. Phase 4 is the second to last phase. Basically, this is the phase that the FTO will hardly be helping me. I'm allowed to ask him questions still, but he will be less and less helpful. Then Phase 5, the last phase, the FTO doesn't help at all. He's basically riding along with me and letting me handle everything. There is an intermediate phase between the two if I don't pass Phase 4. They say a lot of trainees tend not to pass Phase 4 within 3 weeks, so it becomes extended. *Sigh*. This stuff is stressful as hell.
As for an update on the personal life, there really isn't one since the last post. I've been sleeping. Lol. Oh, I guess there's a little update on "Blake", whom I've written about once before (the dream guy). A couple days ago I backed him on a traffic stop which he suspected drugs and was going to search the car. The backing officer basically just makes sure the guy doesn't run or try to hurt somebody. This is the first time that I've actually worked alongside with him. He did good. He looked very sexy... Lol. The guy started pissing Blake off because he kept denying he had drugs, even though Blake found traces of it. So when Blake started getting angry with the guy, that looked sexy too. *Sigh*.
Also, I spent a good couple hours with him in report writing. We actually started talking and getting to know each other a bit. He helped me with my report (I hate our computer system. I wish we could just go back to the paper system). That was nice. Oh, and he is officially single, for now.
I'm not saying anything will come from it, because I doubt it will. He can just remain my eye candy :).
And now, I should get ready for work.

I think I'd be terrified in the last phase where they ride w/ you but make you do everything. It's like here at work, I can type really fast unless my boss is standing over my shoulder waiting for something and then I'm slow and make tons of mistakes!!!!
You are getting sick cuz of all the stress. I take Airborne during school. At the very least it will shorten the length of time you're sick. I hope you take a good multivitamin too. I know, I fuss. I am so proud of you and how hard you are working to achieve your goals. As you know, you are the same age as my sons, so I can't help myself, and I tend to be too motherly. You are such a terrific kid, I wish you lived around here!
