Jojo- I took your advice.
I am enjoying my days off. Yesterday was a very lazy day for me. And maybe I needed a lazy day though I must admit, sometimes it's hard for me to just enjoy laziness. Today, I woke up, took my dog on a mini walk. Went to the gym and worked out. Which, I think I did quite well on being I'm still sick. It's nice to be able to run a mile and feel like I just took a brisk walk. :) I paid all my bills. I checked my checking account and found an extra $600. I may not be a Bush fan, but hey, thanks for the money! I know I needed it...
Here in a few I'm going to be running up to the station, taking an "under cover" crown vic and drive up to North KC to pick up my uniform that I had tailored. After I run that errand (which I get paid to do...) I'm gonna run to the store and buy some necessities. Including some more books, a day planner (which I need)...dog food...people food...
You know, I think I feel crappy when I'm lazy and feel really good when I keep busy. I'm so used to doing this and that all the time that when I do get a break, I feel like I'm not getting anything done. Make sense?
So I've got a lot done today so far and I have a lot more to do and I'm happy about that. Call me crazy...

It doesn't surprise me that you feel "blah" w/o stuff to do, considering the break-neck pace you've been on.
Learn to savour the rest and lazy days. Believe me, you'll come to appreciate them in the future!
