There's Always A First...

And this blog is not my first. I've had 4 blogs previous to this one. My first one was a celebrity themed blog. The second and third blog were both fanfiction blogs (which still exist to this day). My fourth blog was a career focused blog, where I pretty much talked only about the journey in my career. Now, this one? This is just me. A diary, if you will. Of course, I can't talk about everything on here because this is a public diary, but I will talk about a lot of things.

I want to get this out of the way, however. If you don't like what I have to say, just leave. We are all entitled to our own thoughts and opinions and these are mine. I honestly don't want to waste my time, energy or concern over those who might be offended.

Now, my blog has two titles. There's my Main Title and URL Title. They both have its purpose and relate to me. The Main Title, if you haven't caught it, is 'A Moralized Criminal' and my second title is 'Beautiful Deceit'.

Beautiful Deceit is my perception of this world, more specifically, the United States. Everyone lives in a hushed environment, whether you live in New York City, Louisville, or Salt Lake City, there's this false sense of security within every citizen. Nobody's safe within their homes, but we like to think we are. Nobody's safe outside, but we like to dream that we are. No, I'm not a paranoid person, but I have a different view of this world than most people do. It's interesting, my view. I see the good, the bad, and the terribly ugly. Those things tend to change your perception.

A Moralized Criminal is who I am. I'm one of those people that could've gone "either way". I grew up in a not-so-easy environment, and survived in the not-so-ideal way. I grew up very poor with a rotting house, a brother, a sister, a mother, a german shepard who played as our guard dog, and a beagle. I got in fights, I stole, I smoked, I drank, I tried drugs (marijuana), I had sex, I partied. I did all that plus some. So, I started off on the wrong path. Then was saved by my friend and her family, lived a year away from my home state of Kansas, and put on the right path. Now, I'm back home using my past and experiences as one that can save and help people.

So, that explains my titles. To the right of my blog are pictures that I put up because, well, I like them. There are pictures of Kansas City, my beautiful city of which I'm so very proud to live in. There's a few pictures of Anita Blake stuff, which is my favorite book series written by Laurell K. Hamilton. Also, my two absolute favorite guns, a Glock Model 22, 40 caliber and my rifle. No, I don't own a rifle (as of yet) but I do own that Glock. Both of them I love to shoot. Especially the rifle :). Rifles are a little expensive to buy... So, it might be awhile before I get one...

Well, I think that'll do for my first post. I'll write here as often as I can. Sometimes they'll be within a few days of each others and other times it might be a few weeks. Who knows. My schedule is jammed packed. But, like I said, this is going to play as my oasis so, I will try to post here as often as I can.
