It's About Time

Friday is finally here. I really needed it to come because work has verged on over-stressing me, at least this week. I worked 15 hours yesterday and a regular 8 hours today (yesterday was from 8am to 11pm, today from 7am to 4pm). So, you can probably imagine how tired I am today and why I haven't updated as much as I would have liked this week. Hopefully next week will be different, but you never know.

So, as most of you probably already know, KANSAS WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Y'all just don't even know how big of a deal that is here. Being a Lawrence native, I was absolutely ecstatic. I would've drove to Lawrence that night to raid downtown with all my friends for tradition purposes, but the game ended around 11pm or so that night and I had to work at 7am. Not to mention, Kansas City is about 45 minutes east of Lawrence so that's already almost 2 hours driving time to and from. So, I decided it was probably not the best idea to go there that night. Though the game was awesome. That 3-pointer Chalmers made in the last 10 seconds of the game that threw us into overtime was amazing. KU never loses in overtime. My eyes were glued to my tv to the very last second. *Sigh* Monday was a good day.

The rest of the week, not so much.

My goal this weekend is to just relax. Again, probably not gonna happen because I know I have to go into work for a few hours sometime this weekend. Usually, I don't mind and frankly, I enjoy it. But, this week has been really long and I just want to lay on my couch and watch movies or something. And clean. My apartment needs it.
